Aerospace projects consist of complex systems of interdependent components. To ensure that the entire system works properly, it is of utmost importance that all of its components are functional and integrated seamlessly. To guarantee this, it is necessary that the system and its components be inspected at different points throughout the project life. Inspection control allows you to keep track of the inspections that different components of the system have undergone. While this course describes the methods used by NASA, for academic payload projects you could adopt simpler versions of the inspection control procedures.
