Wire Crimping and Harness Tutorial
Wire Crimping and Harness (WC&H) is a method of mechanically compressing or securing a terminal, splice, or contact to a conductor. This process forms a gas tight metal-to-metal contact called a crimp or solderless connection. The information contained in this module is located in CRIMPING, INTERCONNECTING CABLES, HARNESS, AND WIRING, NASA-STD 8739.4, and NASA Training Program Student Workbook for Crimp, Cable and Harnessing.
Safety: All personnel who handle static-sensitive parts and assemblies shall have been trained in the proper procedures and in the use of appropriate protective equipment to prevent ESD damage.
